I never thought I'd actually say this but I think we lose to Tulane. We're a very bad football team, they've actually hung in their against the majority of their opponents this season and they've got us at home.

I think we come in expecting to win and wind up getting spanked around a little bit............

208 rushing yards? 457 last 2 games? Very nice. Best way to be competitive. Let's get crazy and win these last 3!

Rushing yardage is a bit misleading because a big chunk of that came in the last minute when Doaks made a couple of big runs. Those runs raised his average up to 8.8 per carry. But Boone and Warren both rushed for around 2.5-3.0 yards per carry. Moore had a couple of efficient runs and never got sacked, so that also added to the total. UC ran very poorly in the first half, but did better in the 2nd half.

The defense was stout!

The officials were horrible....some of the worst calls I’ve ever seen.

I didn't get to watch but I did follow play by play and catch the highlights. I'm happy about the rushing yard total...but just as importantly, I'm happy with the balance. We got in a rut there where we were throwing more than 3x as much as our RBs were getting carries. We seem to have solved that. Very encouraging. It's the key to making a bowl game. I know it sounds like a long shot, but we're now into the easiest part of our conference schedule. Getting those extra practices would be HUGE.
