I like that we are 2nd in the country in assists and 3rd in rebounds. I know who we have played but still. FT's and TO's are not good but we did at least address one of them in the last game and we know TO's are not going to be tolerated at high levels. We could probably lower our fouls too.

I really don't understand the FT thing. Cronin said we are working on it. But at some point I guess you have to change the way you are working on it. Repetition is probably not the answer. All teams have repetition. We have to change the routine of some of these guys to make it more comfortable I think.

We've only had 20 TOs last 2 games. That's perfectly fine.

I don't want to overreact to 3 games of FTs. Broome won't shoot 50% and Cumberland better not shoot 60%. A couple good games and we'll be right back on track.

Yeah, I don’t think there is much a coach can do for free throws. I’m sure they practice it. Guys either hit them or not. Their starting 5 should be good at free throws.

I feel like Cumberland struggled last year with FT's too. Hopefully it doesn't continue. I think he rushes when at the line. Doesn't seem to have a good routine, but that's just me over analysing.

My comments on FT's are more of a Cronin era thing...rather than a 3 game trend. But we have better shooters now I guess so maybe we can reset this year and hope for new results. However, Cumberland only hit 65% last year. Jenifer is a 65% career guy as well. Those are numbers reserved for bigs...our guards should be able to make 75%+.

Here's an odd stat: Keith Williams is 12 for 17 (71%) on 2-point field goals, and 0% (0-8 from 3, 0-5 from the line) on everything else.

It should be noted that 2 freshmen are really bringing the entire team average down. Outside of Nsoseme and Williams, the team is better than 71% from the line, which is fine, and most every individual is at least shooting OK. Those two are a combined 1 for 11 form the line, however, and will likely be nowhere near the floor during crunch time until they figure it out.
