On a more serious note, I was very disappointed with the Deveroes League this year. It seemed as though the talent was really down this year, and not just UC players, but players from every team. I wonder if we were spoiled last year, with the presence of Lance Stephenson, and the energy that buzzed around the gym. Hopefully next year will be more entertaining or at least better basketball. I would like to hear other peoples' opinions on the league this year, especially from those who attended.
Go Bearcats!

"Sending goons" doesn't mean he was hiring somebody, it means his boys are out looking to even the score. I said from the start this was a rumor going around. I personally don't even believe it to be true, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it were. Yancy I hope is smart enough to walk away from the situation, but that doesn't mean whatever kind of riff-raff he hangs around with are. This ain't the suburbs.

Anyways, did anyone go down this weekend? I'd love to hear a report. We decided not to go since there were no UC players playing.

Go Bearcats!
- no big-deal recruits this year (2 years ago, it was Yancy and Dion. before that, it was the big-ass class)
- no Dayton or Wright St. kids, for whatever reason
- summer league ball is very rarely "good"
