We match up VERY well with Houston (as we did last season too).

SMU will be more of a handful in their place. I expect that game to go down to the wire.

Wichita is the only team that can match us at every position. I'm hoping we have the conference wrapped up by March 4th (if not before) so we can play more loose when we visit them for Senior night.

Temple down at Penn at half. They have 24 points.

SMU is going to hang on at home against Tulane. We can win @SMU. I'm more confident about that than I was a few weeks ago.

My guess is that UCF knew Tacko needed surgery and generally shoulder injuries are the kind that can be put off if the player can tolerate the pain.

When BJ Taylor came back and after surviving without him, it was probably best to go ahead with the surgery now.

If he is smart he comes back to UCF, Too slow for the NBA

He wouldn't get drafted at all this year - he must come back if he wants to even have a remote shot.

Behind the Bearcats 6-0 conference start:

PPG: 71
OPPG: 51.7

Holding opponents to 35.7% FG. Have outscored opponents 426-310, but more telling, in the second half have outscored conference opponents by 80.

Key conference performers:
Gary Clark 13.7 PPG 10.2 RPG
Jacob Evans 14.5 PPG 3.8 APG 1.7 SPG

Point guards are combining for 7 APG and just 2.2 TOV
