SMU Post Season Ban
SMU was just banned from the post season this year and Larry Brown was suspended 30% of the teams games. Big blow for the AAC and the respect bball will get in the polls/seeding

They also lose 9 scholarships over a three year period, and I think Brown will have some wins vacated as well...

Calipari will get his soon. Larry Brown has cheated everywhere he has been just like Cal. Cal is just better at getting out before they pin it on him than Larry is.

Not good for the AAC. We need these teams to be as good as possible.

I don't really care about the AAC to be honest. If the Bearcats keep winning and take care of business I think they will be ok come seeding at tourney time. It really only matters when you are an above average team and you are looking at the difference between a 6 seed and an 8 or 9 seed. I believe this team will be a top 4 seed in the tourney this year barring injury so I think it has little impact this year.

Count me in the camp that believes that it does not matter how good the AAC is. It will always be looked at as second tier. Had UConn and UL as Champs and still no credit, doubt it will ever happen.
