haha I love it. Well once they build an awesome new arena the students would have to feel really safe in there.

Never listen to the fire alarms on a college campus...

Bearcat_NTS will become famous soon enough
Cincinnati is out of the running for the GOP Convention. It might make more sense to BUILD the nice new arena rather than to PROMISE a new arena.

Its a shame US Bank is so dismal, the GOP Convention would have been great for the city. I think it will be in Ohio and go to Cleveland. So sad.

Agree man. Cincy has such a better downtown area as a whole but the deal breaker is the difference in arena's which stings even more.

Didn't the cincinnati.com article say that UC architects wanted a plan for a renovated 5/3 by the end of may?

I believe so but...I've said before I think we are a long ways away before we actually get something substantial. Its all just talk imo.

With the looming 2016 GOP convention, I would much rather prefer a state of the art US Bank Arena to play in. Whatever will generate the most $$$ for the Athletic Department. I don't really care if basketball games are moved off campus, we've got a damn football stadium in the middle of campus that should be enough for alumni that want to get back to campus a few times a year.
Case in point: that convention isn't coming here because the arena is not up to snuff
