Evaluation
I have seen Kyle play live 3 times in 2009 and watched 6 game films in 2009 of Cathedral. Kyle had a strong junior season and is definitely a Division 1 football candidate.

He has good speed but has excellent closing speed. He accelerates to the ball. He is a sure tackler and is adept in stopping the run. He pursues well and takes efficient angles. Turns his hips on pass drops

There were several times that bigger lineman were able to engage him and he did not run around them but lacked the ability to get off blocks when engaged with the 6-3 to 6-5 type lineman. I think this was due to a strength issue, as he was well coached not to step around them.

His size, speed and quality of opponents are major attributes and will serve him well his senior season.
