Gary has four consecutive double doubles. He had exactly 10 & 10 against USF four games ago.

I've said it since the off-season and I've seen many others say the same but I will honestly get teary-eyed watching Gary walk onto the court on his senior day.

He's playing on a different level. We always knew how important he was to us and how he was a fantastic glue guy. Sometimes we just felt like he could be even more aggressive and he's playing like we always had imagined. I hope he gets drafted so bad

Back to him being drafted; I think if we can make it to an elite 8 or better he and Jake both could be drafted. Imagine the exposure they will get and mostly likely will have to be going up against a top 3 team to do it.

One of the other reasons we may not have gotten first teamers last year in AAC is because our top minute guy was ranked 25th in conference. Give our guys the minutes the top guys were getting and it becomes a different story. Not to mention POY race is largely based on scoring and we spread it around pretty good.
His effiency would go way down.

I think it was a bcj article thst showed Gary at 28 minutes is just effective as him at 35.

If Gary can pull down 12 rebounds a game for the next 11 games he will finish the season averaging a double double. It’s no easy feat though.

He is 17 rebounds off the mark from averaging 10 now

I assume what you mean here is that Gary would put up the same numbers roughly when playing 28 or 35 (or at least has in the past)?

Gary has kinda proven over his career that 28-30 minutes is his sweet spot. He isn't Jacob Evans and will get fatigued. Cronin has said over and over again that Gary and Kyle were the ones struggling with faster paced games.

Him playing 28 minutes is perfect. He is so effective, doesn't pick up fatigue fouls and never looks tired.

But if you want stats to back it up.

Gary played 33+ minutes 7 times this year, his average ORTG is 114
Gary played 32 and under 13 times this year, his average ORTG is 144

Thats a difference from being good to Elite

Also, Gary is doing more with less this year, his Usage rating is at an all time high so that helps a ton.

Also, its again one of those things were the more rest we can give Gary the better for his longevity. The guy has
