Fans and players were flat. I kind of expected that. I think Temple will be a different story.

Cane continues to provide a spark. Not sure we can call it a spark anymore...the difference is night and day.

Was at the game today a few observations.

1. Brooks really is not bad offensively. Show nice touch around the basket. If he continues to get minutes and improve I don't think it will be the doom and gloom situation some believe with Washington leaving.

2. Jacob needs to tighten up his ball handling.

3. Gary misses a lot of shots very close to the rim

I know it’s the old back-up QB syndrome but damn it if I don’t love the kid. He’s gonna average 8 blocks a game as a senior. He had 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in 4 minutes today.

Totally agree with this post parts 2 & 3
Jacob is not, repeat not an NBA quality guard when it comes to top notch handles or driving to the hoop - he needs to be back for his senior year to polish those skills

Gary still jacks around a little too much under the basket, although he is improving that - just go up and dunk the MF basketball!

Brooks is getting better..I still think Kyle is worlds better, at least on the offensive end

I don't disagree that Kyle at this point is much better but I saw a couple of things from Brooks I hadn't seen watching on TV. He has nice foot work and his back to the basket game is coming along. He made a right hand hook today and a left handed one. He also has a soft touch with a not bad looking jumper. He has some game starting to show up on the offensive end.
