Although I enjoyed the current 5/3, this is still very much good news.
If what everybody's been saying on here is correct, we can now expect recruiting to make a huge jump. |

It's all linked. Upgraded facilitites will give UC a better chance to move into a better conference which would help improve recruiting. Even without a move in conference, the upgraded facilities will definitely help recruiting. Kids want to go play in a place that either has a lot of history or has a bunch of new amenities. Updated locker rooms, etc will have a nice impact as well.
