Do you have a scouting report the_one_32? Saw he's from Colerain.

Fickell continues to live up to his plan of recruiting locally!

Played, grew up, still live and attend Colerain games. Ja'Von is a really good WR stuck in a run heavy offense. If this kid was at St. X or Moeller or any other school with a passing attack he'd be a high 3 star low 4 Star type WR. He's got good size at around 6'2, has very good speed in probably the 4.5 range and is very good at making contested down field catches at there highest point. He needs to work on route running, his hands can be suspect at times and seems to get frustrated easily. One big plus is because he plays in a triple option attack he is very comfortable blocking on the outside. He runs mostly out routes and 9 (vertical) routes so haven't seen him go over the middle. But with some work on his concentration and route running he could be a stud at UC.

The problem with Ja'Von is because of the offense he's in its really hard to get a good grasp on what he's capable of. Rumors are he may play some secondary this season because Colerain lost all 4 starters back there.

Think that will only help him.

No problem at all. I know Colerain started throwing the ball more later on in the season because Gunner was healthy at QB and coach Bolden trusts Ja'Von in 1v1 coverage
