I've seen articles and highlights on their 7'6 kid Tacko Fall. Seems like a real good student and kid, but he does not look athletic at all. He'll get dunked on more than Shawn Bradley did.

For sure..

He is very slow. and almost looks like he is playing in Slow motion. However I think with some good coaching, he could at least be an ok player his jr and Sr year..

Amida Brimah (not nearly as tall) but was very raw (though much quicker) when he first came on the scene however I expect him to have a pretty good year now that his fundamentals are strong.

But overall on UCF, I just meant they are a very tall team with 8 players 6'6 or taller and some very wide too (Justin McBride)... But there just gonna end up being the slowest team in the AAC.

However I do also expect the bottom 5 teams of the conference to be a lot better this year; I think Houston for sure one of those teams.

Biggest question about the AAC this year I have it: Will Memphis every live up to its talent level. On paper they have the best recruiting and yet still suck

UConn & BearCats

Are BOTH Final4 contenders (IMO). I am rooting hard for both teams to represent this year (BearCats vs. ISU and VCU ect...) and meet up in Houston. Interesting that draft express has their Top5 players (AAC only) from the perspective of NBA potential. ALL five are from UConn and Cincinnati.

Troy (3)
Octavius (5)

I expect each team will protect their home court this year when UConn vs. Cincinnati meet up. Look for both teams to peak at the right time and make a magical run. Even if we (both teams) lose 1 or 2 of our key OOC games in my opinion we stack up great against the perceived chalk.

I am rooting for you guys. Good luck. Make it happen BearCats. You have the team and coaching to do it!

Leading Scorer: Ellis
Leading Rebounder: Clark
Leading Bench Scorer: KJ
Most Improved: KJ (with consistent 3 pt shooting) or Caupain (overall leadership and all-around game)

Ellis averaged 11.7 ppg in the last 10 games last year. With a full year of D-1 under his belt now, I think he can easily average that on the year.

I know the common logic would say Ellis, Clark, or Caupain would be our leading candidates for most points...however Cobb averaged 11 PPG over the last 14 games and 11.5 if you throw out the KY game where he scored 2.

He will be more comfortable this year and if he gets the starting nod and plays with the starters he has an outside chance to be our top point scorer too.

I think we have 4 players who have the potential for 12 PPG+

Yea its always a good thing we can have a debate about which player will be your leading scorer and everyone says someone different.

I wish Cobb was a little taller, He just do as well when matched up against taller SG.

That said, Im super pumped about this season. I bought Season tickets for the first time and been marking off the calendar waiting for the season to start.

Also: What I most out of this season (outside of a national Championship) is to beat XU at home. And I think they can do it.

Thank You! I am pretty high on Uconn as well believe when we play we both will be in the top 15. This is becoming a crazy competitive and physical riverly and I love it. If you think we both protect home court who do you think wins the third match up in orlando?
