SMU allegations
It appears SMU is in a little hot water. I heard about it last night and since no one has posted any info yet I'd figured I'd start a thread with a link.
http://m.espn.go.com/ncb/story?storyId=12180575 I had a feeling when SMU hired Larry Brown and then started getting crazy recruits that it was just a matter of time before something popped up. Looks like eligibility issues are the main factor. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. My guess is they will have to vacate any wins that that kid Frazier played in. So maybe we will have won 28 games last year when all is said and done. Maybe they'll lose a year of postseason play if the staff was guilty in helping cheat his grades. |

Justin Martin didn't "go pro" for no reason.

Actually looked it up because I was curious. Vacated wins the other team doesn't get, forfeited games they do.

Well I don't feel bad about them being left out of March madness last year anymore

Keep in mind, this was the same school that supposedly received the death penalty in football in the mid 80's. Seems like the school/administration gained nothing from that experience.
