Bengals QB Andy Dalton dodges his role in loss better than he does INTs |

The defense is good, the receivers are VERY good, it's pretty obvious who the weak link is. On the other hand, why do people continue to care about the Bengals? What have they done in the last 20 years to warrant it? That'll always be a mystery to me.

I just need to vent... I'm sorry I am a true Bengals fan and will always support them, but Andy Dalton is terrible. TERRIBLE. 10/33 for 86 yards and 0 TDs. 3 interceptions. The sad thing is he still makes over a million dollars a game for a performance like that. Greg Little, who was cut by Cleveland and the 0-whatever Raiders, somehow thought he was something special and was talking trash this week saying "somebody has to pay." He caught 1 pass for 8 yards in garbage time. If Oakland cuts him, what makes the front office here think he can play in this league? After Jeremy Hill's huge week we only gave him the ball 12 times. He had 55 yards on those which is a solid 4.58 yards per rush. I know we were down from the beginning, but give him the ball! Can't really fault AJ because he had a top 3 CB shadowing him all game and had Dalton throwing like he was to him. This team is just frustrating. The losses on primetime TV are stacking up and I'm not sure if we should even tune in next time they get a big game. That's all.

Sad truth is elite qb's are hard to come by. Let go of Dalton and the chance to upgrade is slim. There's no free agent available that would be even as good as dalton. That leaves the draft. And that is a crapshoot. Maybe one great qb every other year and plenty of teams with high picks that need those guys. So when you have a guy you win with you keep him and hope you can bring up a guy through the draft that might be better. What you don't do is let him go and sign a guy that wasn't deemed good enough to start for many other teams sitting there without a good qb.
