Somehow that equates UC as not being able to get home talent.
Well when asked about it, Chane said he was to young and committed to early. I'll belive him over what BCL or what others says about his uncle or moving away.

But you're more then welcome to belive the 100% committed to UC all you want.

It isn't just one thing, it is a combination of several things. Too young? Yup. I am sure there is something to it. Moving away and his uncle getting really involved? Has a lot to do with it too. It's not an either/or thing.

IMO, even if he didn't move away he would've still open up his recruiting. Huggs was alreay talking to him after his verbal. After the season he's having in AAU, other teams would've jumped in as well like they are now. Even with the verbal.

Nothing is 100% till a kid signs. I just hope he goes somewhere other then the BEast because it will suck to watch the kid play against UC.

We will never know but you could be 100% correct.

I don't want to see him in the Big East either.

chane behanan

I think we can all agree that the chances of Chane coming to UC is very very very very slim unless some of these bigger programs back off of him and the way hes been playing i highly doubt that!!! Everything i have heard about him and everything he has told the media does not really even mention UC with it. Everyone knows when a kid decommits that theres and even smaller chance that he comes back. The thing about Chane is he is dominating smaller players and is very strong and quick, what hurts him is his size he is no bigger than 6-6'' when he gets to divisional 1 basketball when players are just as strong and quick but are 3 to 4 inches taller than he will have to find a new niche to scoring the ball. I have heard that he wants to play the 3 in college but there is no way possible he isnt quick enough nor does he shoot that good from 3. He is a beast and would be a welcome addition to the Bearcats. Here he has a chance to start, any other top program he will be coming off the bench. So thats what we can offer him that other top programs cant!!!

KY Visit

ESPNU 100 power forward Chane Behanan is expected to take an unofficial visit to Kentucky Wednesday, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

The 6-foot-7 Behanan told the paper "It's a good possibility. I have to call them in the morning to set everything up."

The Wildcats have yet to offer the senior who had a terrific summer, nabbing MVP honors at the NBPA Top 100 camp in June.

"I think that's what they want to talk about," he said.

Behanan does hold offers from Louisville, West Virginia, Texas, Ohio State, Purdue and Indiana.

Several internet reports tonight have Bowling Green High School standout Chane Behanan, a top-30 prospect nationally, making an unofficial visit to the University of Kentucky tomorrow.

The leading candidate for Kentucky's Mr. Basketball honors is scheduled to make a visit on Wednesday but he's not headed to Lexington.

Instead, he's supposed to be at the University of Louisville.

Word is Behanan will make the trek to Louisville on Wednesday afternoon and meet with U of L coach Rick Pitino and his staff and see the facilities on his unofficial visit.

Behanan took an unofficial to UK several weeks ago but still doesn't have an offer from the Wildcats. He visited Ohio State last weekend and is also considering West Virginia, Cincinnati and Indiana among other schools.

Chane got an offer from UK today.

The 6-foot-8 Behanan also picked up an official offer from Kentucky. He confirmed the offer to Scout.com analyst Evan Daniels this evening.
