Couple of former recruits for Seton Hall...

Myles Powell 16 points (5/15 FG, 3/8 3FG)
Kadeem Carrington 28 points (10/16 FG)

Loved Myles Powell. Unfortunately the day Cumberland committed he all but eliminated UC. He's going to have a big time career at Seton Hall...

What about Carrington? I'd much have rather had him over Kevin Johnson. Recall he wanted to come to UC? Just going off memory so may be wrong.

Only saw him a few times, and never really had a great feel on his recruitment. UC was dialed in on Caupain hard going in to that spring and KJ came out of April and May as a guy pretty much everyone had a little above Carrington. No denying that one has developed at a much higher rate. Pretty much came down to Johnson being ready to commit before July evaluation opened up. At that point they were trying to prepare all but SK exiting the back court, and needed to make sure they added a replacement for Dion Dixon in that class. Probably would have had a good shot at Carrington in the fall, but took the local bird in hand...

Xavier Snead has been excellent for KState so far. He had 16 pts 8 reb 3 stl vs BC tonight. He's averaging 11.5 or so and is the top guy off the bench. Seems like he's going to have a very good career there.

Lagerald Vick made his way into the KU starting lineup last game. Started 6-6 tonight with 15 pts already. He's turning into an important piece for them.

Bashir Ahmed tallied 19 points and 7 rebounds for St. John’s, Shamorie Ponds had 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Marcus LoVett went for 13 points.

St. Johns fell to Delaware St tonight 79-72

Ky Bowman 33 pts 8 reb 5 ast 3 STL 1 blk. They lost 89-83 to Fairfield. He was 13-21 from the floor.

Damn, wish we could have got him. Dont know where he would have fit on this roster though.

Just leaves me smh thinking of him wanting to play for a dumpster team like BC. Just tells me where his priorities are.
