I doubt that they practiced one minute for this opponent. I imagine that they have been practicing for weeks on Michigan. That's not to say that they will be better next week, but I'm sure that they probably didn't come into this game with a ton of emotion, and it showed.

I was in and out bc I had a fantasy draft. We didn't look great from what I saw. This thing is a full rebuild at this point. But that's kinda what we thought. I'm still hoping to make a bowl game and we can go from there.

While I was not happy with the performance I have to keep in mind CF is facing a roster that has been on a downward spiral for a few years. It will take time to build that back up.

Was there any sight of improvement? I didn't see any, tackling poor, special teams still special,QB ran every play could not stop, no run blocking etc...
I guess silver lining was confirmation that UC is a dance team school with 10 natty's

It was probably Donald Trump's fault!

I didn't see any either. If Moore is going to be the QB for the next two years it's going to be a long 2 years on offense. Can't really pass judgement on Fickell until year 3 or so because the talent on our team just isn't there.

I think when the QB recruit Ben Bryant is starting, probably his sophomore season is when we can start making critical judgments about CLF.

I think a judgement after one game is definitely too early...but I don't mind making some judgments this year and next. We can judge CLF on lots of things besides wins or losses or a lack of talent. In game decisions, player emotion levels, discipline, strategy etc etc.
Nobody gets a free pass. We have to show improvement game by game and year by year. The players we have now need to show improvement by end of year. The team has to look better and better as we go. |
