I think he typo'd and meant $500k, but that's so great to see. No more D-League and no more 10 day contracts. He'll be a legitimate NBA player for at minimum two years. So good for him. He deserves it all.

Training camp body. Gets 50k just to try out. If he makes roster they'll guarantee rest of contract for the year.

Incorrect. He has to make the team to get that 50k. Not sure how likely that is...

Also incorrect. That 50k is ONLY if he makes the team. If he remains on the roster in January then the entire 850k or w/e becomes guaranteed.

What are the chances we think? I thought I read the Pelicans only have 13 guaranteed contracts on the roster right now and I think the max is 15 guys. So he's definitely got a chance.

They have pay him for training camp and games. No way in hell it's only if he makes it.

im pretty sure hes right. If you read the article it doesnt say 50K guaranteed. It says 50k partial guarantee. so nothing is guaranteed yet other than he is on the preseason roster it seems. could be wrong, theres a good chance of that actually, but thats how I read it

edit: Nope he is 100% correct. He has to make the team to make the money
