Bearcat_NTS will become famous soon enough
Another stat: Cincinnati has not scored 70 points in 8 consecutive games. It is the longest such streak since 2012-13 when UC did not score 70 points in 15 straight games!

I think it's OK if Ellis gets 30 and Deberry gets 10. Ellis staying out of foul trouble will be key this year.

With the win last night, Cincinnati has now won 32 consecutive games in which they scored at least 70 points. The last loss when scoring over 70 was at Marquette on February 11th, 2012 by a score of 95-78. Since the beginning of the 2010-11 season, Cincinnati is 56-2 in games where they scored at least 70 points.

Tough to beat them when they score that's a fact.

I heard an interesting stat today. 84% of 3s made in the NBA come from an assist. I wish someone would tell our guards (mostly KJ) that. If the NBA players are mainly shooting off the catch, then I doubt our guys will have much success shooting off the dribble or trying to create deep shots for themselves. We have to get the wings to move towards the hoop. Ellis did a good job getting to the middle against the zone, but none of our guys consistently moved in to change the angles. Just way too easy to defend. When our guys get nervous, their default mode is to stand and hold the ball. At some point it has to click that in big games you can live with guys on the wing doing pretty much anything but that.

Percentage of three's assisted:
Jermaine Sanders- 94.1%
Troy Caupain- 88.9%
Kevin Johnson- 83.3%
Farad Cobb- 77.4%
(Quadri Moore and DeShaun Morman are at 100% but they have so few makes)

Hoop Math

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Seems like Sanders would be shooting a higher % from 3. Also noticed that KJ had the highest % makes at the rim assisted on the team by far and he is a low shooting % there overall comparatively. He needs to get himself to the basket.
