Road Game Stat

Cincinnati has not scored 70 points in conference road game in two years (18 straight games). The last time they did was March 8th, 2014 in a 70-66 win over Rutgers.

Since joining the American, UC has been held under 70 points in 24 of 27 conference road games.

9-9 in the 18 game streak of not hitting 70. 13-11 overall in the non-70 point games.

It does not take a rocket scientist to say something is not working here on those stats

Lol. Don't shoot the messenger. It must improve if we want to win the league. I'd imagine that trend extends to most games away from home in general. And obviously nothing in the postseason is in our own gym. We were able to score against St. Joe's at least (thanks to Evans playing instead of Thomas), so it's a good sign that that's the last thing we saw offensively. I know it makes Coach extremely uneasy to ever allow 70, but our incredible record over the last however many years when scoring 70+ isn't a fluke.

Our teams have steadily improved in offense the last few years, it's all in the stats. We keep bringing in guys who can put the ball in the hoop while still be that lengthy defender we like they are only gonna get better. I think nick has shown some interest in bigger scoring threats these last couple classes, hopefully that can translate into bringing in some even better scorers of all goes well. I know a lot of people are down on the program but I think things are heading in the right direction for sure.

The last 4 years, playing in a mostly far weaker league, we have averaged 67.5 points per game. The prior 4 years, all in the Big East, we averaged 68.5 points per game. The year before last we had the lowest offensive average of the entire Cronin era at 62.1 points per game. Please explain your statement how that translates into steady improvemeant in recent years.
