They did say during the selection show they already had us both where we were before the game. I remember it distinctly. Truth be told, we split the regular season, one had to win, one had to lose, both playing third game in three days, don't think the outcome truly changed anything on a season resume. And I'm sure that's how the committee kind of sees it too. Also don't think they were overly concerned about two six seeds reshaping anything last minute.

Well Clemson didn't beat Virginia and Duke, Texas tech didn't beat WVU. Guess all we have to worry about is Tennessee, and honestly I think that was the only one other than auburn we had to worry about at all.

i think it was said by the chairman in the interviews right after the brackets were released. why is purdue a lock to be a 2 ahead of us? is it the OOC SOS? purdue has 11 group 1 and 2 wins. we have a better record vs group 1 and group 2 and 2 more overall group 1 and 2 wins. we are 11-3 in games away from home in the top 2 groups, they are 8-3. really wish tulsa would have won today so we could get another group 2 game in there. |

I have been assuming they are ahead of us when discussing what it would take for us to clinch a 2 seed. Clinching a 2 seed requires a high level of confidence. I'm not highly confident we are ahead of Purdue. |
