But I definitely don't see a loss in production next year. Interested to see how good cane Broome is when he doesn't have to do everything, hoping he can be a little more efficient. And I expect a huge jump from Cumberland maybe even bigger than Evans between his fresh/soph years.
And our pace should see a huge leap as well, i loved caupain but we all know how deliberate and sometimes slow he could be. Switching between Broome and JJ at point is gonna be fun.
25 is probably the extreme low end for Broome. He's never played here so I didn't want to just assume more than that. The more he is over 25 though, the easier it will be to replace the lost production.

These were just a couple guys I found real quick who came from smaller schools and as we know have done pretty well for themselves. I know they both have a couple inches on Broome. But going trough just some random people I never heard of, high usage guards it isn't uncommon at all for them to have an even ass/TO ration or even a slightly negative one. That's just what happens when you have the ball in your hand 30% of the time
Lillard at Weber State was 4.0 AST/2.3 TO with 33 USG% his SR year. But 3.3 AST/2.8 TO with 32.5 USG% his JR year.

Elfrid Payton at ULL was 5.9 AST/2.3 TO with 27.6 USG%

Broome was 2.9 AST/3.8 TO with 31.2 USG%.

These other guys were also upperclassman and really high draft picks, so we'll see how Broome does here.

Jeremy Lin was 4.3 AST/3.8 TO as a JR but can't find his USG%.

SR year was 4.5 AST/3.1 TO with 26.1 USG%

I didn't say Broome. I said an in-coming frosh was compared to Nick. Take time to read please.

Is it a stretch for me to think that Broome's assist numbers would be better if his teammates were better?

Legit asking. Sacred Heart is terrible. I can't imagine Broome would want to pass knowing he's far and away the best player on his team. Then, when he did pass, did those guys make shots?

I admit the TO% is high but I feel like he was a young player with a team that needed him to do everything offensively to win.

Sacred Heart was 195th in FG% and 310th in 3FG%. Certainly doesn't seem like he had help.
