I know that especially in football, the star rankings aren't the end all be all, but it was interesting to look at this.
no team outside of the top 15 got even one 5*.

o$u got #3 5*'s and 20 4*'s.
The awesome job by CLF to reel in several excellent players, and beat teams from power conferences, still only left us with: #0 5*, #1 4*, but a very nice 22 3*. Was just interesting.

Whyle and Vann were both 4 stars when they committed and were immediately dropped to 3 stars. Hard not to take the star rating seriously outside the top 50 players. Plus I promise you a guy like Tevian Thomas, for example, has all the talent needed to be a top RB in CFB.
