Evans a first round pick??
After watching Evans the last couple of games I just can’t see what everyone else is . He hasn’t done anything against good competition. After today’s game I certain he comes back for his senior year. He is just not ready for the big time. We would not have lost if he played like a 1st round pick. Very disappointed in his play of late.

Absolutely not. Jacob is a very good player. He has a lot of room to improve. He is not capable of taking the ball to the hole with any kind of authority at all against mostly average college competition. The NBA would absolutely eat him alive

There was a mock NBA draft released Saturday that had him going in late first round

In the NBA, especially outside of the lottery, they draft players who they think can fill certain roles. Evans would fill a 3 & D roll on a winning team. I mean, he will never be asked to be a star player and likely will never start in the NBA. The NBA will grade his athletic ability, shot making and decision making ability and see if they can get a good role player in the late rounds. I think in the last 2 minutes of games he is who he should be all game. IF we could combine Jarron and Jacob, They'd be the perfect player. |

i dont think anything has changed with jake. its the same as it has been.
he will fill a d and 3 role in the nba. but i dont think you leave early for that job (cause it doesn't guarantee being drafted in the 1st). |

i think he meant deflections. Sounds a bit sarcastic too...I think Jacob is a good college player, who with another year, may be good enough to go first round...I don't know. I honestly believe he loses by trying to jump after his junior year...another year & his stock may rise significantly.
