I don't take any game for granted right now. Not a single one. |

Haha...yes. I listened to Cronin the other day on an interview (can't recall which one it was). He said right now we are focused on our practice today. If we start looking into the future...it's hard to focus on getting better today.

This team is really bought into that concept. A team that prides itself on guarding and effort the way this one does really has bought into the coaches system. Everyone likes to play offense but few do what it takes to win playing good defense. Very proud of this group.

Couldn't agree more!!! I hope their hard work continues to pay off for them. Their effort should be rewarded.

I disagree. We never blow teams out on the road. They are probably still better than UConn without Milton and that wasn’t a blowout. I expect a similar game. 10-15 point win. I would prefer a 30 point win. Rest players, get bench some minutes

I can't say I wouldn't want a 30 point win but I agree with most coaches. Any road win is nice. Getting on the plane after a win is the goal.

There was never much in doubt about Memphis and Uconn. We start to play prevent and we let them come back a little. I don't think it's a bad strategy to stall when we are up 15-20 with 5 minutes to play. Even if we only win by 10 in the end.

Jamal mcmurray hasn’t been great this year but the dude can really score on just about anyone when he is feeling it.
Emeligou (I totally just made Up that spelling) can also get really hot. Even with out shake, road wins aren’t easy and that crowd is always nuts. |
