Michigan had gotten serious with Wilmington, Ohio four-star shooting guard Jarron Cumberland before five-star Tyus Battle committed to the Wolverines in May. Fortunately, the Wolverines appear to still have a shot at Rivals.com's No. 65 rising senior nationally following Battle's de-commitment.

Cumberland announced Friday he'd be visiting Michigan Monday.

Just a guess, but I'd say we have very little shot at Cumberland any longer. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go to B1G

He hasn't really gone public with the schools he is favoring so there is hope Cincinnati is still in the mix. As the summer goes on he'll get more and more interest from B1G powers so not sure our chances.
