With the foul trouble we had in the first half, Jenifer and Broome were on the floor at the same time and I thought they played well together. Both of them got the ball up the floor quickly unless Mick told them to slow down. I thought Broome was a little too passive last night and didn't look to drive. That and the fouls were my only negatives from the game. I really enjoyed what I saw. Can't wait to see them again next Friday for the season opener.

I really like this group of freshmen- Keith W. is a future star (maybe this year)- Trevor M. looks to be the zone buster everybody needs- E. Nsoseme was looking for somebody to block out during warm-ups and I can't wait till CB and JJ run run their man into one of his screens. M. Diarra has not shown much so far but he is so long and his shot's not bad, I think he has the normal freshman hump to clear and will be a lot better than people think right now.

I could see us switching between Williams and Moore as the primary back up wing depending on the defensive matchup. They are both so different in what their primary strength is. One night we could need Williams more and one night it could be Moore. Mick has so many options to throw out there right now. |
