If you look close, it's not the actual skyline, it's a condensed version. All the buildings are kinda stuck together. Most people that see that imprint on the court won't know it's Cincinnati. Most will think it's the city from which Xavier is located. They won't recognize as Cincinnati. I do admit with many of you that the administration and athletic department are a little slow to the punch. For instance, we still have not recognized Sean Kilpatrick and will we drop a banner for the AAC basketball title we won last year? I bet Louisville has already done it !!.

Xaviers court is a copy cat. Folks have been doing weird designs including skylines on the court for years. It's a fad that they aren't early on.
Glad UC didn't fall for it. Will always want the big bearcat leaping at you on center court! |
