2017-18 Kenpom Rankings are out

UC comes in at #11.

But the biggest news maybe how much the AAC is improved in his metric. Last year we finished with 5 teams in the top 100, This season we start with 8.

Also Last year we played 13 Regular Season Tier A & B teams, this year we have 17 on the schedule with a potential to add 1 more if we play Iowa.

Here is the bearcats schedule in KP

UC has a project #18 offense in KP and the #7 Defense.

Im ready for this season

For some reason the picture isn't showing but here is a link to my dropbox with the pic.

That is great news for the AAC!! That would be a big jump from 5 to 8 in the top 100 and it might not be too far off. I could see 1 of the teams maybe falling out for 7 total but the increase in quality is significant. Not only are we adding more to the top 100 projections...they are moving up slots.

Last year we had

SMU...11
UC...23
HOU...52
UCF...68
Uconn...96

This year projected

WSU...4
UC...11
SMU...24
UCF...60
HOU...64
Temp...67
Uconn...69
Tulsa...82

We have 1 more team in the top 25. 3 more teams in the top 70. Our 8th team is slated 14 spots ahead of the 5th team last year. That is a HUGE improvement even if we can get 7 in by end of season. I think our conference rank could be 5 or 6 by end of year...rather than 7 last year.
