you are being ridiculous. Show some respect. Maybe you're too young to realize the greatness he represents.

1. I'm not sure why you expect Oscar to live to age 170 or so, so that's a little random.
2. He would not cough that up. What he does give, though, is publicity to the school every time we're on national TV. It looks great for recruits to see one of basketball's greatest players ever not only went to UC, but still attends games with regularity and will watch you play all the time if you come to UC.

I've been to countless games where fans from the other team have binoculars or their cameras out trying to see him. They point him out to their kids or friends and are star struck. If the Big O had to pay for any seats I'm pretty sure the fans alone would step up and pay the ticket prices for him. The man deserves everything he is given and much more respect.

Wrong. You think 18 year old kids care?

Maybe about Kenyon.

Old timers love O... no kid has any idea or care.

O is so out of touch with modern basketball (see steph curry interviews). He attends maybe half the games.

A statue is plenty of respect. Don't be ridiculous.

who cares? do you think his seat is at the expense of someone who would pay full freight for it? do you think oscar has the money to pay for it on his own?

Kenyon was a great player, deserving of all the accolades he received, but Oscar was in another universe as a player.

While Oscar isn't the most approachable person in the world he is truly the best player to ever wear a Bearcat Uniform. Watching him play as a kid was the reason I became not only a Bearcat fan but a basketball fan. Going to the games and seeing him there always puts a smile on my face.

Oscar is an all-time great not just for UC but all of basketball. All the doors at the University should be open to him. If the Big O getting free seats is really a concern, we've officially run out of things to complain about - it's way too early in the offseason for that.

I highly doubt that Oscar's seats are free.
