There is a God: Tuberville to step down

ESPN: Reports say former Auburn HC and current Cincinnati HC Tommy Tuberville is stepping down as HC of the Bearcats.

A lot have linked fleck with orgeon but doubt that will happen I see orgeon going different direction. Fleck would be a dream but I'm holding out hope if orgeon chooses else where(which I think they will). He currently makes 800000 I'd be interested to see what we'd offer him. Same money ass tubby made?

Most practical options on uc's short list are probably
-fleck
-Neil brown
-brohm
-Coombs(not sure how interested we are in him but his name will be mentioned)
-maybe jason candle? Toledo had a strong season
**he wouldn't stay to long but I really hope we look into Lincoln Riley he is going to be the next big time coach in a few years. Very young and energetic right now. Would be a dream hire

Agreed, but Riley played at Texas Tech and coached there too. I think he would be the home run hire for Houston.

For us, I think Fleck is the home run. Then followed by Brohm, Neil Brown and Jason Candle.

Since obviously people will be asking, for various reasons we feel confident Kerry Coombs will not be a top candidate in the search

Ya houston was my concern with Riley due to location. But having gone thru the whole Herman situation I think the are looking for more of the tubs rout in a guy who isn't looking to leave after a few good seasons. But I agree fleck would be great and prom would also be very good. Too many good options can't mess this up
