Brooks has been a little frustrating but I think Nsoseme has look promising. Just needs time. I think both take some leaps next year

Hardnett decides today I’m guessing later afternoon after school. I imagine we get our second commit today

Brooks has been very frustrating. I feel bad for the kid actually. He just needs to get stronger and then use that strength to build his confidence and swagger. He should be going strong at the rim. You can tell he wants to but just can;t get it done yet, still gets tentative. I wish the coaching staff could bring back some old school Bearcats and help this kid develop a killer instinct. Plenty of guys to choose from.

Sorry - forgot what thread this was in and got confused by the comments...this is about the recruit! Guess we won't have to wait much longer to see.

Brooks does offer some rim protection but needs to do so more consistently without fouling. He offers nothing on offense. It’s really amazing that he can’t make any shots...even inside of 4 feet. He hasn’t shown any glimpses that would indicate he will be able to replace Clark or Washington next year. Maybe he can develop some post moves during the summer.

I agree with you. I feel like he is a couple easy/lucky baskets from being much more confident. He just needs to have a good game against a good team to prove to himself that he can do it.

You would think that skilled big men would be knocking down our door with all the available minutes next year and lack of talent currently on the roster now.

Maybe we aren't paying what it costs for a skilled big.
