After all the bashing on this site recently here is another look at why we should always be proud. Out of 351 division 1 teams only the twelve listed below have at least five final fours and multiple national championships. All the other teams have had the same chance but only these 12 made it onto this list and there are no other candidates in the near future.

North Carolina
Indiana
Connecticut
Louisville
Kansas
Cincinnati
Florida
Michigan State
Oklahoma State

Not bad company at all.

If you were born in 1964 or later (so 51 yrs old), Cincinnati has made 1 Final Four in your life time. That's it. So those accomplishments from the early 60's were cool please do not confuse UC for an elite program. Pretty good? Yes. But other than Oklahoma St, we aren't in the same discussion as those other programs.

With the dull thud of predictability, an anticipated response. All the ACC, B$G, Big 12, and PAC whatever schools have been around since the first tourny in 1939. Where are they? I'm proud of our history and need a break from the horseshit you and so many others post to corrupt every single thread on this board.

Someone has to be the provider of truth, who better than someone who is rarely (if ever) wrong! We have a long way to go to become the elite program Mick hopes us to be. Can he do it? I guess we'll find out!!

My gut tells me this Cincinnati team is going to very special. Final4 special. The chalk is not like last year and in my opinion your team is primed and due to break through from a national perspective. UConn is also going to be exceptional this year. The addition of Miller and Gibbs was huge. I will be rooting for you guys to take teams to the woodshed and make it to Houston. You have a legit shot. Good luck!
