As important as it is for UC to actively recruit local players of this caliber, this might be one of the exceptions where it makes sense for them to back off.
He's gonna be a high-risk, high-reward player no matter where he ends up, and with a program as stable as ours, we could do without any prima donnas disrupting our culture. Hope everything works out for him though. |

I don’t blame him. If his goal is to play in the nba, might as well start the process. We have seen others go over seas. If you are good enough, playing in college for 5 months won’t make much of a difference. I’m surprised more don’t do this.

I think the NBA owners want this so they don't have to worry as much about selecting busts in red 1. I have seen zero to warrant his top #10 ranking. Bet he ends up in Europe or china.
