'18 FL PG Elijah Weaver
Chip Miller @BLUEChip_Miller 9 hours ago
Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin is the latest to offer Oldsmar Christian (FL) 2018 four-star Elijah Weaver (@___ewr), per @OCSHoops. Top 40 player. This one will be tough. http://247sports.com/player/elijah-weaver-86624 |

This one will be hard, but I really hope we get a big time PG recruit for 2018. If David Collins doesn't sign with us, we can basically promise a 2018 recruit that he will be starting at pg for 3 years once Cane leaves. That's really big.

I think other than being local, that was a big selling point to Cumberland. Split time with KJ freshman year, then the SG position is all yours.

Yes, with being in the top 25 pretty much all of this year and hopefully next year, and hopefully being a second weekend and beyond team in the tournament. To sell a kid that realizes he's not going to the NBA after one year the thought being a 3 year starter at big time program that wins many games and goes to the tournament every year can really allow us to get a highly recruited PG.
