Anyone know why we're going after guards?

Because they want to add another guard/wing...

Makes sense that we'd want a wing. I guess I just assumed it'd be more if a 3 than SG. Is it a bad sign for Jenifer that we've also offered smaller combo guards? I'm just trying to figure out how the roster will look bc you said the ideal # of scholarship players is 12. So that leaves us with 2 left for 2017 and we're offering bigs, wings, and combo guards. One of those positions seems like it'll go unfilled. I hope it doesn't end up being the 4/5 bc then in 2018-2019 we'd have only Scott and Brooks...and both will likely be minor contributors as underclassmen. Pairing them with brand new big guys makes me uneasy.

I can see them bringing in a big to redshirt for the 13th spot if they find a guy they really like but needs a year to develop.

Williams can play the 2 or 3. He's about 6'4" with long arms and high end athleticism...
