Class of 2012 quarterback Zeke Pike (Edgewood, Ky./Dixie Heights) is a potential future five-star. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder has a big arm, good feet and instincts and while young (he still has two more years of high school football), is the complete package at this position. He will be the most celebrated recruit to come out of the Commonweath since Tim Couch. Pike told me that every program he camped with this summer issued a verbal offer.

http://footballrecruiting.247sports....-interest-5056 Quote: 2012 Future 247 quarterback Zeke Pike (Dixie Heights H.S., Fort Mitchell, Ky.) took an unofficial visit this weekend to Clemson. Pike, a member of the Future247, claims between 35 and 40 offers. He plans to trim his favorites list to 10 sometime after his season so as to begin whittling the process toward a decision before his senior year. Clemson will be toward the top of that list, he said. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder has attended games at Louisville, Kentucky, Iowa and Purdue this fall and will go to Auburn next week. Pike is unsure of his plans thereafter, but he is considering taking in games at Arkansas, Florida, LSU or Alabama before the season is over. His other offers include Southern California, Tennessee, Oklahoma State and North Carolina. |
