They also play more positionless with a bunch of 6'4 to 6'9 guys. Davenport will fit well in that scheme. We're very rigid positionally, and it was hard to hide JD's flaws that way.

Will he have to sit out a year? He's already used his free transfer and I don't know why he'd get an exemption. I don't fully understand the new rules yet.

Saunders scored 19 points in the final 14 minutes of that game, including 7 during a 14-1 run when they cut UCLA's lead from 16 to 3. Have to think he'll get more minutes going into the conference...
