the 20ppg was a bit of hyperbole cause we could never have a guy score that much unless we only had 1 or 2 offensive options again. last year had too many scorers to have anybody score that much on a team getting 65 possessions a game.

There were a couple games he put the ball in Evans' hands, especially in the second half of games. Mainly defensive minded Temple and Houston. But even Houston his gameplan was to abuse the opposing 4's and 5's and get them in foul trouble. It worked at home but the refs swallowed their whistles at Houston. But I still maintain his offense is designed around getting the ball inside and Gary was the focal point of that. Last year we did have a lot of options to score and with Gary's love for the assist (which I absolutely loved about him) it was easy for him to not be aggressive for his own points.
