CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's basketball advanced to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament with a 76-62 victory over Weber State last night. Cincinnati and Dayton have played 89 times since the series began in 1907 with the Bearcats holding a 59-30 advantage, but this will be the first time the two have played each other since 2005. The Bearcats are 38-11 in Cincinnati, winning 15 in a row from 1973 to 2005 vs. UD. The Flyers won the last game in Fifth Third Arena, 75-66, on Nov. 29, 2005.
