There are ways to get the ball inside other than having a big post up and feeding him with an entry pass from the wing. PnR, high-low, baseline drives, backdoor cuts, slip screens, or just general motion with quick passing. None of those require big guards, just timing and awareness. Miller's offenses don't really try any of that. Small guards are a problem if you rely on iso creation (which is hardly a real scheme).
Even if we get better players, our teams will have a low ceiling if we don't run offense.
