It's all riding on Cumberland of course but I can't wait to see what Brannen can do with the bench. Diara, Gillam, Hardnett, Moore. If he can get two of those guys to produce at an acceptable level...our roster depth may become a non issue. I think the depth will be there one way or another...but we need at least a couple of those guys to step up as reliable role players. Or any new addition we may add. We need 1 combo guard on the bench who is a capable replacement and then 1 big. 7 deep would be ideal.

I think more so then anything. I’m just going to work on not being a super fan anymore. When UC lost, it legitimately ruined my day. That’s stupid as hell. It’s just basketball.

Who cares.
Can you and I be friends? I'm 35 and a white man with very similar interests. Platonic relationship only though. I'm happily married.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM9Uqbiuvic (kid can take it to the hole, this was last summer in AAU).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=velWYcS5MGc (this was Prince at the Adidas camp last year)

Take what you will from these videos because in these AAU tournaments there is little defense ( a lot of running up and down the court with monster dunks)

https://247sports.com/college/cincin...lam-121239553/ ( this is a pretty good article on him)

He scored double digit points in 10 of the 12 games played at the highest level in the Nike and Adidas tourneys last year against some highly rated opponents. Points are not everything and I know that but this kid plays extremely hard and is a good shot blocker for only being on 6'7 ( reminds me of eric hicks, undersized forward who can play d and make a play with the ball in his hand.) He redshirted last year because he signed late and didn't get to campus until the last day of august. He's also a 4.0 student which speaks volumes about the type of kid he is.

Both Gillam and Hardnett seem to have tons of potential. They are both athletic tweeners who can bang inside or shoot from the outside and both seem to have a good handle. Seemed like in brief glimpses during Cronin's pregame interviews in practice that Gillam was working a lot on his 3-point shooting.

Still, they have to make the jump to the next level at UC and are only redshirt freshmen. I expect them to be excellent players at some point, but like with Diarra my concern is they won't get there quick enough this year. Have to wait until we actually see them on the court.
