Last night had to be one of the best shooting games against a good team of the cronin era, possibly the best. outside shots were going down, fts were great, we finished very well around the rim 15-20.

when breaking down the numbers there still 1 glaring problem for the offense and its the fact that we still took 22 mid range jumpers. 6-22 on them 27% on one of our hottest shooting nights ever. Cumberland was amazing last night but only 2-9 on mid range shots.

if we can keep up the good movement and passing on offense and maybe get into our offense a bit earlier in the shot clock i think we can cut down on those shots. we probably shot a decent amount of them last night after we had slowed the game way down and we were taking shots late in the shot clock. if we can keep improving this offense and have some counters to when they stop our main stuff we are really going to be a team nobody is going to want to play in march.

I think a 3rd accurate and reliable 3 point shooter would go a long way right now. We need to be able to kick out in either direction when we get in the paint with our guards/wings. Cumberland and Jenifer have been dynamite so far. We could use a 3rd guy who can give us consistent makes on kick outs. 35% or so. Sure would be nice if that player were Broome because of the other stuff he can do.

Agreed. Cumberland and William's both settle for way too many shots 1 or 2 feet in from the 3 pt line, aka the worst shot in basketball.

What a great day to be a Bearcat!!

Fun game, everything went our way. Except maybe officiating here and there but we just thoroughly dominated a big name school on national TV. Doesnt get any better. We'll have games that aren't this easy plenty going forward but last night was just one of those nights to enjoy. And hopefully build some confidence.

Last night was UC's most efficient offensive game against a P6 since WF in 2002

Remember that game well. Some of the clips below are from it. Logan was just on fire.
