Williams lucked out a bit. He was not aware of the clock until almost too late. Cane with an absolute monster dagger!!

Cane's one of those dudes that doesn't seem to be bothered by the end of the game shot.

Agreed. We have been fortunate to have some clutch performers. If it weren’t for that we could be up near #1 in luck factor as we have avoided 1 possession games uncannily. Always seem to end in a 2 possession game somehow. FTS or clutch shots have been great this year. Cumberland usually but we have had some others get the job done.

Agreed. Cumberland has been meh the last 2 games. I'll give him a pass against UCF because of the giant Tacko blocking the entire middle but today he has no excuse. They gave a little help defense but he was mostly locked down all game by one person.

People want Cumberland to be fresh, but then complain about a game he took off, that we won. I’m confused

i think the role he's been asked to take on this year has been a factor in the last 2 games. his legs really look dead at the moment. hopefully he can get them back soon. |

Cland had 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a game in which the opposing game plan was geared solely to shutting him down. He also broke a six minute scoring draught in the second half and made two critical free throws at the end of the game. If Cland “was not in the game” then I am sure Connecticut would like to know what it was doing all day.
