But his shooting percentage was better than most guys we've recruited and he shot well from the line. Due to that and his height, I could see him moving ahead of Saunders. Too early to say for anything, of course.

If Brannen can find a way to get the ball moving quickly and multiple shooters are ready to go, I could see the outside game improving in the next 2-3 years. We'll need good ball handlers, passers and shooters.

I guess Brannen has been recruiting this 6'3" shooter transfer from Belmont, Adam Kunkel. Boone County kid who'd sit one and play two more. I think he was hoping to get a spot with UK, but they seem to have held off. The Xavier board is talking like it'll be them, but I think this kid would fit Brannen's system really well.
We don't have any open scholarships.

Was late to see that Kunkel committed to Norwood Jesuit earlier today.

Keith announced today that he is returning to Clifton for his senior season. Huge news.

I was starting to wonder what the delay was in announcing either way. Glad it's settled and the team can focus on learning how best to mesh together.

I'm still hopeful that the sophomores will take a big step up this season, but having Williams in the lineup definitely takes a bit of the pressure off.

I'll be interesting to see what Williams has worked on in the time off, because I'm sure he was really trying to impress scouts with his shooting.

Yah...this is a big deal obviously! If we can get Dejulius a waiver we should have enough scoring to compete with top of conference and make the tournament again.

Please have a season!!

With Keith back, I think we have a top 3-5 roster in the league at the moment.

If DeJulius gets a waiver, I think that bumps us up to a top 2-3 team.

I think that sounds about right. The talent is there but experience with the system is not optimal. But if Dejulius plays it gives us a scorer handling the ball, a go to guy on the wing in Keith, a 5 who can score in the paint, and an X factor big who can score in a number of ways. We can attack weaknesses in multiple ways.

It's not a national champ team, but even without DeJulius I'm really liking the team. I'm eager to see the offense run more like Brannen wants it to.

I know the new guys are going to be lost for a while, but it seems we have some players who can at least offer some depth for breathers and hopefully some scoring.
