NCAA Football 11

Just picked up my copy today... UC is ranked #24 overall... a step up from being unranked last year... but the team is just a B overall (A- Offense, B- Defense)... can't really argue with it... though it makes me mad when I scroll one team up and see an unranked Clemson team that's a B+ overall (B+ Offense, B+ Defense)...

Anyone else have their copy yet? From everything I've read this year's version is the best since the next gen console's have come out...

Other notes:

EA has UC running a 3-4 base defense... guess they didn't do their homework to figure out Butch was switching back to the 4-3... your two stars on offense are Zach Collaros and Vidal Hazelton, not Armon Binns... maybe even stranger, the star on defense is #45, DL Rob Trigg...

And for the uniform nuts... the white helmets are there to use...

You can celebrate with the Bearcat this year... unlike last year where that wasn't an option... though I still don't believe he's in the mascot mash-up game...

If Collaros to Hazelton is half as good in real life as EA thinks they're going to be, they're going to be a special combination... it's almost too easy... I'm shredding Pitt's secondary right now...

I just picked mine up today but haven't played it yet. Can you switch to a 4-3 or do you have to play a 3-4 base defense?

You can switch at the game setup screen like in years past... just a small annoyance...

There's been some multiple fixes to past games. I'm hearing that some players are still showing up in the wrong skin color. It's a nice laugher for that person.

Didn't recall off the top of my head and didn't check the roster online, but the starting center is black... I don't know if it was supposed to be Evan Davis or not. lol

After playing a little bit today, I am happy with what I am seeing as a whole for the game. Pretty smooth and a few new tackles and animations.

I know they are the defending national champions, but bama seems to be JUST a bit too good. 1st year starters over a 90 rating, better than other returning starters from other teams that are impact players.

Can't wait for correctly names rosters to become available.

I am loving the game. I really am happy with new gameplay. In general it is the same feel but the little things they did to improve the game make a world of difference.
