I'm guessing with UC winning the AQ, Tulsa just sh!t a BIGGER brick that they lost to Wichita State.
Houston can't be happy either that they mostly lead the conference during the season only to lose the AQ in a tie breaker. If the NCAA madness does proceed it'll be interesting to see who from the AAC does get in and where they are seeded. How many AQ teams get lower seeds than others from their conference? |

If they do have the tournament with the normal format, there should be additional spots available to replace teams that choose not to participate.

Sorry, I couldn't find any reference to that scenario in the AAC Policy. But I'll bet there will be some amendments added for the future. How does the AAC have a policy for something they could never have dreamed up - even in their worst nightmare?
