'11 NC PG Anthony Stitt
Point guard
Matthews, North Carolina Ht:6'1" 173 lbs Class:2011 (High School) "Cincinnati has spent the last few weeks scrambling for a JuCo guard with no success to date. If Coach Cronin gets a guard in the Class of 2010 he will probably never start a game in his college career. The Class of 2011 is now even more important to the future of the program. To that end, Cincinnati has developed a decent relationship with Anthony Stitt of North Carolina. Stitt projects as a college point guard, but few recruiters have seen him play. He sat out almost the entire sophomore season for a rules violation. In 2007-2008 Stitt was one of several high school athletes punished for eligibility violations regarding phony addresses." http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1081501 |

(From a Charlotte site)
Jim mentioned Stitt being in attendance at the X game. A distant cousin of (Clemonson player) Demontez Stitt, Anthony is listed as a 6-1 PG. Selected First Team SW4A by the Big O. Scout ranks him a 3-star and TechSideline.com reports that we have offered. http://ninernation.net/index.php?topic=26246.0 |

VT Eyeing Butler 2011 G Anthony Stitt
January 15, 2010 Butler (Matthews, N.C.) guard Anthony Stitt is hoping a big-time junior season equates to major Division 1 offers. The 6-1, 175-pound prospect has some solid offers in the fold already, including Charlotte, Richmond, VCU and William & Mary, but the higher level D1 programs would like to see more. http://www.techsideline.com/news_arc...cruiting-1.php |

Lets lock this kid up because his recruitment is about to explode, you cant have enough ball handlers that can score. He would be a great start to a 2011 class that could be very special. Hopefully we can get a verbal soon, this would be very good news to the program and us fans!!
