Unhappy Passion

I have too much passion for UC basketball. I became borderline depressed following this afternoon's game and slept nearly the entire day away. I wish I didn't care so much. I wish I could let the losses roll off my back without a second thought about them- but I just can't. The losses @ 'Nova, @ ND and @ Pitt didn't hurt so much... the team didn't play great, but then again not many teams do play well in those venues. But the past two losses @ 5th/3rd have cut me real deep.

Mick,

Please for the love of God and all that is holy in this world, find a way to bring this team together and defeat UofL on Wednesday.

Pretty sad when the fans care more about the losses then the players...

Ill be pissed about my Sunday night league loss for a week or so.

I'm right with you man.

Watching the game in my bedroom I tried my best to punch through the mattress when Kilpatrick's shot bricked off the glass. I haven't been that frustrated with a UC loss since the last time Lavin got us. You can not drop home games against unranked teams in this conference. WVU and SJU are very beatable in your building.

There is nothing worse than being on the wrong side of the bubble. You get constant national coverage, but for all the wrong reasons.

I replay every play in my mind. Missing wide open shots is what really bothers me. Dixon missed 3 consecutive wide open three pointers. Davis missed two. Kilpatrick as well. Then of course there's the free throws. 8-15 and especially the ones late when you're leading. As Anthony Buford said, you have to hit wide open shots at this point in the season.
