From the Boo Williams Invitational:
Anthony Bennett, PF, CIA Bounce- A strong, 6-foot-7 four man who has some face-up skills, Bennett spent some time patrolling the perimeter and hoisting up three-point jumpers. However, in transition and around the rim was where he did the vast majority of his damage during a 23 point and seven rebound effort. Perhaps a tad short as a four, he makes up for it with his length, activity and physicality. A four-star prospect who ranks #91 in the class of 2012, he's positioning himself for a move up the rankings. http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.c...sp?CID=1209834 |

Anthony Bennett (6-8, PF, 2012)
With the #1 player in America (Julius Randle) covering him, Anthony didn't care. No one was going to prevent him from getting to the cup. He proved he can put it on the deck and finish with authority; both in the half court and on the break. His improved jump shot has given guys a reason to play him tighter and Anthony has made them pay by using the fake to get to the rim. http://www.flagrantfouls.com/2011/04...ional-day-one/ |

Speaking of a passion for the game, Bennett is a force on the court who doesn't back away from a challenge. His specialty is making plays in traffic, and he can also step out and knock down shots and be effective on the perimeter. Think of a more athletic version of Michigan State's Draymond Green, and you have a vision of Bennett.
A host of schools are pursuing Bennett, but he listed offers from Connecticut, Xavier, Washington, Oregon, Kentucky, Florida, Arizona and Florida State. Bennett hasn't taken any visits yet, but Connecticut, Xavier, Florida and Arizona are at the top of the list of schools he wants to visit. http://cincinnati.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1210169 |

Anthony Bennett (2012, CIA Bounce)
A physical player with a high motor and a grinder's mentality, Bennett is destined to be a highly productive college player. He rebounds in traffic, finishes against contact and can make plays on the perimeter. It isn't always pretty, but Bennett can be counted upon to get the job done. http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.c...sp?CID=1211142 |

That description matches everything I've ever read on him. Haven't seen much film on him but UC has had a lot of success in the past with undersized big men...

Bennett impressed during the first session of the Nike EYBL, and he looked even more explosive and confident this weekend. Yes, he is skilled and athletic, but it is his grinder mentality that pushes him ahead of most other big men in his class. I won't be surprised if Bennett has a long career making money playing basketball.

He is strong, bouncy and full of competitive energy. Playing as a cross between Paul Millsap and Draymond Green, Bennett is constantly producing winning plays. He is terrific in traffic, is an accurate finisher and is capable of playing above the rim.
